The Tactix heavy-duty block plane is manufactured from a die-cast body. The plane features a hardened and tempered 51mm alloy steel blade. This product is ideal for end grain work and fine finishing of timber. Do not test the sharpness of the pre-mounted blade with your finger, use a piece of paper instead.
