  • What is the delivery fee?

    The delivery charges for all online purchases are as follows:

    Delivery charge of ‘Standard items’ nationwide is only €5* (multiple Standard items are allowed for this price). With FREE Delivery for orders over €70 on ‘Standard items’ only. The items will be dispatched from our Woodie’s Online Store and delivered by An Post Parcel Service. You will be emailed an ‘An Post Tracking Number’ once your order has been dispatched. A Signature is required to receive the order. If you are not home, An Post will leave a calling card with details of the local Post Office where you can collect your order. Large Items and Bulk Items are except from Free delivery, as they require special handling.

    Delivery charge of ‘Large Items’ nationwide is only €15. (Multiple items are allowed for this price.) Woodie’s will use either An Post or an independent transport company for these deliveries. If you are not home, An Post will leave a calling card with details of the local Post Office where you can collect your order. While the independent transport company will contact you in advance of delivery.

    Delivery Charge of 'Bulky Items' is €40. These large items require special handling and so attract a higher charge. This will be notified to you at the checkout prior to you completing your purchase.

    When you purchase Gift Cards we will post your order Free Of Charge. Only one ‘Delivery Charge’ will apply per online order. If you buy a €5 delivery item and a €15 delivery item, the €15 delivery charge will apply.

  • Can I use my Me2You Gift Card online?

    FromMe2You Gift Cards can be used online at www.woodies.ie To use your card select:

    1. MasterCard
    2. Enter the 16 digit card number on the front of the card.
    3. Use the Valid Thru date in the Expiry Date field.
    4. If prompted, enter The CV2 number below the barcode on the back of the card.

  • Can I use my One4All Card Online?

    Yes - One4All Gift Cards can be used online at www.woodies.ie

    You need to register your One4all Gift Card in order to shop online at Woodie's.

    When you register online at www.one4all.ie you will be given an Online Expiry date which allows you to use your gift card with Woodie's. (This Online Expiry Date is not the expiry date of your gift card, it is an allocated security date to be used as an expiry date when shopping online.)

    Click on the Get Expiry button at www.one4All.ie and enter your gift card number.

    Then in the Password field enter your CVV2 number which is located on the reverse of your gift card.

    When shopping simply select the Visa option.

    You will need your Gift Card number, CVV2 and Online Expiry Date to complete a purchase.

    Please ensure you have sufficient funds on your card when purchasing online.

    Please note due to new EU regulations, from 10th January 2020 the maximum online spend is €50 per transaction.

  • How do I add product to my cart?

    To add a product to your cart, simply click the ‘Add to cart’ button located under the price. This will automatically add the product to your cart.

  • How can I see what is in my cart?

    You can view the contents of your cart at any time by clicking on the ‘Cart’ link located at the top of each page.

  • How do I remove an item from my cart?

    If you have added a product to your cart and no longer wish to purchase it - simply access your cart and click the ‘remove’ button next to the item you do not wish to purchase. This will automatically delete this product from your cart. If you wish to empty your cart from all items, click on the ‘Empty Cart’ button.

  • How can I pay for my order?

    Woodie’s accepts VISA, MASTERCARD & Payments through PAYPAL. All prices are displayed and charged in Euro.

  • Am I charged the same price as instore?

    All prices are displayed and charged in Euro. We are committed to offering convenience, service, and product availability online at competitive prices every day. Despite everyone's best efforts, you may rarely encounter a mispriced item at woodies.ie. Therefore, we verify prices as part of our shipping process.

    If a products correct price is lower than the stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the product. If a products correct price is higher than the stated price, we contact you for instructions before shipping.

    If you decide not to purchase the product at the correct price no charge will be incurred.

  • What if an item is not available?

    We will make every effort to ensure that all orders are fulfilled, however we cannot guarantee the availability of all products. In the event of a product being unavailable a member of Woodie's will contact you. We do not charge your credit card unless a product has been shipped, so if a product is discontinued or unavailable your credit card will never be charged.

  • What happens if my order can't be completely fulfilled?

    If an order is not fulfilled within a period of twenty one days, we will contact you by e-mail and/or telephone, setting out the reasons why the order cannot be fulfilled and if applicable, the revised date upon which it is expected that the order can be fulfilled.

  • Do you take back WEEE items?

    WEEE REGULATION

    As per the WEEE regulations, Woodie’s will take back Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) from members of the public 'free of charge'. At Woodie’s we take all our environmental obligations seriously and comply with all such legislation. These regulations are designed to promote the recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment. They will facilitate in particular the achievement of the targets for the collection, treatment, recovery and disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment in an environmentally sound manner as established by the directive. The regulations impose obligations on persons who supply electrical and electronic equipment to the Irish market whether as retailers, importers or manufacturers.

    HOW DOES WEEE WORK?

    Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one for one, like for like basis. Waste batteries including rechargable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle your old electrical goods and batteries.

    'Takeback' is on a one-for-one basis only and the product must be of a similar type or have performed the same function as the new item purchased. For example if you are buying a new drill we will take back your old drill free of charge and ensure that it is disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.

    WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF RETURNING WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT?

    If you are returning electrical appliances then you should carry this out at our Customer Service Desk, at any of our stores nationwide. Once you purchase an appliance we will be happy to take back your old appliance free of charge once it is of a similar type. We will not be obliged to take back contaminated WEEE that presents a health and safety risk.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU FORGET TO BRING YOUR OLD APPLIANCE WITH YOU?

    If you are purchasing a new electrical product but forget to bring your old one back on the day of purchase you can return it to our stores on your next visit. Please ensure you keep your receipt for the new electrical item and present this at the customer service desk when returning the old electrical item.

    WHAT HAPPENS WITH HOME DELIVERIES?

    If you are purchasing an electrical item and choosing to get it delivered then we will uplift 'free of charge' on the day of delivery the old appliance once it performs a similar function as the new item purchased.

    WHAT ABOUT RETURNING WASTE BATTERIES?

    With regards to returning waste batteries, these are taken back free of charge on a one-for-zero basis, i.e. no purchase is required. There is a container for small batteries in your local Woodie’s store. Waste battery recycling is free. Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge.

  • How can I return an item?

    If you have bought items online at www.woodies.ie and would like to return them, the ‘first step’ is to click here to get in touch with us and be sure to quote your Order Reference Number.

    If you received your online delivery from ‘An Post’ we will issue you a Returns Label so you can post the item back from your local An Post Office.

    If you received your online delivery from our ‘Independent Transport Company’, they will be issued with an 'Authorised Return Label' instructing them to collect the parcel from your address and return it to the Woodie’s Online Store. (You will only be refunded your ‘delivery cost’ if the return is as a result of our error.)

    Alternatively, as we have 35 stores Nationwide throughout Ireland.

    Woodie’s are happy to accept any ‘online product’ return as long as it is in its original condition and packaging is re-saleable within 30 days of purchase. Replacement products will be charged (including delivery) until the returned product has been received in a re-saleable condition. You will only be refunded your delivery cost if the return is as a result of our error (e.g. faulty product or incorrectly shipped). If we agree to provide you with a refund we will instruct our Merchant Acquirer to credit your credit card account within 30 days of receipt of the returned product. Your statutory rights are not affected.

    Please note: If you are returning a faulty item within warranty with a receipt, then you may be entitled to a repair. If it can’t be repaired you may be offered a replacement and if it can’t be replaced you may be offered a refund. With the nature of any faults, each case will be dealt with on an individual basis.

  • How can I cancel an order?

    If you wish to cancel your order click here to get in touch with us as soon as possible. Because of the efficiency of our order dispatch system your order may already have left our Online Store, if this is the case, wait until your order has been received before returning unwanted items.

  • How do I unsubscribe from our Emails and/or SMS marketing messages?

    If you do not wish to receive information from Woodie’s about our promotional offers from time to time via email please unsubscribe from the base of the email received or log into your Woodie's account and amend your Marketing Preferences.

    To opt out from Woodie's SMS marketing messages simply text QUIT to 50555. This is a free text.

  • Is it safe to use my credit card?

    Woodie's has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our Digital ID from VeriSiqn, Inc. enables you to verify Woodie's Internet identity when you visit our site. It also guarantees that information you send to our Internet address will be delivered only to us. Our Digital ID also enables Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), encryption technology, the standard for ensuring secure data transmission across the Internet, to encrypt information you send. For maximum security, we use a secure server that encrypts all your ordering information, including your name, address. This information is not accessible to the Internet. Your browser must have the SSL feature enabled before engaging in shopping transactions with Woodie's.

    Transactional information provided for Credit Card payments are provided off site in the confidentiality of the processing bank's secure site. This information is not seen or provided to Woodie's. We will never see your credit card information.

    We want our visitors to know that credit card transactions are processed by our Merchant Acquirer which has confidentiality of transactions covered by their privacy policy.

    This professional payment authorisation service was chosen by Woodie's for your added security. Information provided by you to our Merchant Acquirer is held outside of this site.

    This means neither your local operator nor Woodie's will have any access to this information during your transaction with Realex.
