Indoor plants have become a welcomed trend in 2019 and it's definitely continued into 2020. Plants bring colour to any room, fill up open spaces and even provide health benefits.
The benefits to indoor plants are endless, but here are a few of our favourite ones..
They Clean Our Air
Indoor plants make the air we breath much cleaner, absorb toxins, reduce carbon dioxide levels, increase humidity and produce oxygen for us. That small little plant in the corner is cleaning the air we breath in everyday.
They Make Us Less Stressed
Studies show that plants help us feel less stressed and give us a sense of well-being. Many of us feel more at ease when there's greenery around us, people in offices tend to be more productive, take fewer sick days, make fewer mistakes, and are overall happier when greenery enchances their enviroment.
Gives a Sense of Accomplishment
As great as plants are they do require maintenance and upkeep. This provides a sense of accomplishment for the plants owner when they see it growing and flowering. It gives responsibility and awarness of the work that a living thing requires.
So this #HousePlantAppreciationDay why not give your little friend a water? Or if you don't have one pop to your local Woodie's and talk to one of our horticulturist to find the plant for you!
