Kidde Fire Blanket

A fire blanket should be present in all homes and is an essential fire safety product. Two layers of woven glass fibre fabric with an inner layer of fire retardant film cuts off oxygen and stops the fire. The Kidde fire blanket can be used to wrap around a person whose clothing has caught fire. Recommended on fat-pan fires in the kitchen, where it would not be recommended to use a fire extinguisher due the potential risk of spreading the burning fat or oil.
