This represents the laminates resistance to wear on a scale of 1 to 5. the higher the rating the higher the durability. The AC5 rating means it is ideal for residential use with high traffic and commercial use with high traffic. It is quick and easy to install and is dimensionally stable as it does not expand as much as real wood. This floor is made with high quality HDF moisture guard coreboard which gives an enhanced ant-swelling performance over standard laminates.
