Apply one coat of Johnstone’s Any Surface Primer to your shapes and allow to dry for as long as is indicated by the instructions on the can.
Using your tester pots, apply one coat of matt or soft sheen in your preferred colours. We have used Johnstone’s Pineapple Crush, Miami Mint and Steel Smoke.
Allow to dry fully and apply additional coats as required.
Once dry, apply 3M Command strips to the reverse side of your shapes. Ensure your command strips can support the weight of your shapes before hanging them on the wall.
Before placing your shapes on the wall, it is a good idea to sketch out your chosen pattern so that it is easy to follow.
Measure out your starting point on your wall. Place first shape in position and test to make sure it is level using a spirit level.
Plot out the rest of your design as wish. You can vary shapes and patterns to create your own design.
